All our services are provided at a greatly subsidised rate for children, young people and their families and our running costs increase every year as we care for a growing number of children and their families.
Although we currently receive statutory funding from Essex County Council and make grant applications to Trusts and foundations, for the vast majority of our income we are reliant upon the good will of the local community.

-
It costs around £24 per hour for every child to attend one of our Activity Clubs or Play Sessions. Parents usually only pay around £4 of this cost. The remaining £20 is funded through grants or donations from generous fundraisers.
-
The cost of running our specialist services increases each year as we care for an ever growing number of children and their families. This year alone our service has grown by 50%.
-
Since the Government Spending Review, we have lost some of our statutory funding, that’s why we need the help and generosity of the local community. This means that we need to raise nearly £2,000 each and every day to continue to run our vital services.
-
Last year we provided almost 30,000 service hours to children with additional needs and support for their families.
