Our PARC Ambassadors scheme was first set up in 2014 when a partnership was formed between PARC and Newlands Spring Primary School in Chelmsford, to help develop some innovative fundraising ideas and also help raise awareness of the services PARC provides to local children with additional needs.
We are now inviting other schools, colleges, community groups, as well as individuals to become a PARC Ambassador.
We’re currently looking for people to join our PARC Ambassadors Team!
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience working for a children's charity, meet new people, help promote PARC in the local community, plus help at our fundraising events and at our PARC Centre in Great Notley.
Duties may include:
Attending local community events to promote the work that we do at PARC, distributing flyers, manning a stall, collecting donations etc.
Visiting local businesses to distribute collection tins
Helping with PARC run fundraising events and activities
Helping with general tasks in our Fundraising Office
By becoming a PARC Ambassador you will be making a real difference in the lives of children and young adults with additional needs by helping to raise
awareness of PARC (Essex).

The PARC Ambassadors scheme was originally set up in 2014 between PARC Essex and Newlands Spring Primary School in Chelmsford. The school chose six of their Year 6 children to become ‘Ambassadors for PARC’ and the children were set tasks to come up with different fundraising ideas to raise money and awareness for PARC.
The scheme was a fantastic success, helping to raise over £500 for PARC, as well as giving the students of Newlands Spring a whole new set of skills, such as learning about a sense of community, the benefits of working as a team and also encouraging understanding towards additional needs and disabilities.
