PARC CHARITY SHOP
As well as our centre in Great Notley Country Park, we also have a contemporary charity shop situated in the historic market town of Braintree, just a short drive from our PARC Centre.
Our PARC Charity Outlet first opened its doors on the 23rd June 2013 in order to generate a regular income to sustain and improve our services.
We have been overwhelmed by the kindness and sheer generosity of your donations so far.
To date, the future of our PARC Charity Shop is looking bright but we need your continued support for this to happen.
Our PARC Shop is more than just your regular charity outlet.
As well as being a treasure trove of hidden gems, where you can shop until your hearts content AND help a great cause, we also aim to help young adults, (with or without disabilities) by providing employment opportunities in store, giving them the chance to achieve an NVQ in Retail.
This also helps them to:
Get experience in a real working life environment
Enhance their career opportunities with a recognised NVQ qualification.
Helps them to build valuable life skills
Enables young adults to make a positive contribution back into our community.
"Every day in the shop is a joy; watching the young adults flourish in this environment is one of the most rewarding parts of each day. Providing somewhere that they can develop their skills and improve their confidence in a place that they feel safe and supported is at the heart of what we do here at the PARC shop"
Emma Frearson - PARC Charity Outlet Manager

We are currently looking for young adults with additional needs who would like to gain some experience working in a retail environment. See the full flyer HERE or call the PARC Shop: 01376 321 216 or Email: emma.frearson@parcstaff.co.uk

There will be lots happening in store this year from storytelling, to arts and crafts, to games and competitions.
