OUR SERVICES

We offer a wide variety of services, play opportunities and activity sessions at our purpose built indoor centre and outdoor adventure playground, where children with disabilities can enjoy themselves, while parents and other siblings can take a break.

Our services are currently used by over 500 families in the Essex area and we have a range of children on our books, from birth up until the age of 25, including those with speech and language difficulties, autistic spectrum, epilepsy and those with physical and learning difficulties

Parents and families also receive networking opportunities with other families in similar circumstances and also from our dedicated

and experienced team.

Our Activity Clubs run all year round, during term time and the school holidays.

This gives the families of additional needs children a break and opportunity to undertake other activities, safe in the knowledge their

children are being cared for.

All of our play sessions are led by experienced, NVQ Level 3 staff (or higher) who are trained in first aid and Child Safeguarding.

Staff and volunteers are also CRB checked before they join PARC.

Children also receive one to one care on their first visit to the centre to fully assess their needs.

WHY ARE PARC SERVICES SO IMPORTANT?

  • ALL CHILDREN NEED PLAY

  • CHILDREN LEARN THROUGH PLAY

  • ADDITIONAL NEEDS CHILDREN NEED PLAY OPPORTUNITIES AS MUCH, IF NOT MORE THAN OTHER CHILDREN

  • MANY ADDITIONAL NEEDS CHIlDREN FIND IT DIFFICULT TO ACCESS MAINSTREAM PLAY FACILITIES FOR A VARIETY OF REASONS
