KINGS GROUP & PARC (ESSEX)
PARC (Essex) has teamed up with local business Kings Group in order to generate much needed funds and to help raise awareness of our work with additional needs children and young adults within the local community.
We are extremely proud to announce this partnership as PARC (Essex) is close to Stephen King's heart (Director of King's Financial) after his son was born with additional needs.
Stephen was also asked to be a patron of PARC (Essex) last year.
“Having Bradley has made us realise the strains on the whole family when a child has special needs.
PARC provides a facility where the children feel welcomed, where they feel part of a group and where they can play. Having a child with special needs is difficult for the child, the parents and any other siblings.
Having Bradley has made us aware just how fragile life can be and how important places like PARC are.
I am always trying to put money back into the charities which have been so helpful to me and my family. We have collection boxes in the office which promote the fundraising we do, and this new incentive for PARC will hopefully help them to continue to offer the support and help to many more families like mine.

As Director of Kings Financial, a local Financial Services company in Braintree, Stephen wanted to do more to show his support for the charity.
He has established an incentive where anyone living in the Great Notley area, or anyone who has ties to PARC, can benefit from a free consultation to discuss any area of their financial needs, but also know that 20% of any commission received will be put back into PARC.
This incentive has been hugely successful, and on 6th May 2015 the first cheque for £2,000 was presented to PARC.
One client who used this incentive said “I used Kings for my mortgage, life cover, will and trusts and they also sold my house for me.
Not only did I receive exceptional service under one roof, but I was delighted to know that I was helping raise money for a charity
which my son benefits from after being diagnosed with autism”
As part of the incentive, Stephen and his company Kings, are offering free financial advice to all our PARC parents, with any profits made from commissions being donated back to PARC.

Stephen and Kings Group have also recently established 'Be Moved By PARC' ~ a new initiative joining with PARC (Essex) and Tendring Reuse and Employment Enterprise (T.R.E.E.), where we are now able to accept more furniture donations as part of our PARC Charity Shop's Services.
Not only do PARC receive a donation for every item sold, helping to keep our specialist centre open, by donating your unwanted furniture to the scheme, you are helping to reduce landfill and provide volunteer and work placement opportunities for people in the local community.
